brûlée accessories are lovingly handmade and designed for everyday wear. To maintain the beauty of your pieces please follow these care instructions:

Avoid direct contact with perfume, makeup, sun sunscreen and other beauty products as they may stain.
Avoid swimming in your accessories
Store out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry place.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR EVA SANDALS

Rinse your sandals thoroughly with plain water to quickly remove any dirt or debris and use a soft cloth to wipe away any remaining dirt and debris from the shoe surface.
If additional cleaning is needed, mix a few drops of mild dish detergent with water in a bucket or sink and then put your shoes in to soak.
Using an old toothbrush or sponge, dip it into the soapy water and gently brush the canvas straps and EVA sole in circular motions to clean up any stains.
Rinse your shoes thoroughly and allow them to completely dry in a well-ventilated area to let the shoes dry naturally.
DO NOT put in a washing machine or dryer as this will damage the shoes.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR LEATHER SANDALS

Dirt and other debris can embed into leather. Use a shoe brush or damp soft cloth to remove excess dirt and debris from the upper and insole before you start polishing.
To clean the EVA side sole mix a solution of dish soap and luke-warm water, dip a sponge or old tooth brush it the soapy water and gently brush the EVA sole in circular motions to clean up any dirt. Allow them to completely dry in a well-ventilated area to let the shoes dry naturally.
Ensure leather is dry and use a clean, dry soft cloth and use a leather dubbin to treat and seal the nubuck leather. At brûlée we use a locally produced leather Dubbin on all the leather shoes when finishing. Dubbin is a wax product used to soften, condition and waterproof leather and we would recommend it on all nubuck leather products.
